I can go outside into our doggie pen whenever I want ! No waiting on a human to let me out. My (human) dad put 2 in from the basement, one ramp through his office, into our big dog pen, the other in the "naughty" dog pen, with stairs, into a smaller dog pen. Actually, since the Michigan winters can blow quite strong, he put double doors in to help keep the cold air out. He's pretty smart, for a human. There is enough room between the doors to sleep, which makes it nice during the hot evenings in the summer, although the basement is a lot cooler than outside.

Another great invention is the stairs up to the bed. We have one set to my (human) dad & mom's bed, the other in the basement to the day bed. It really saves my feet and back, instead of jumping up and down. You can find them at:
